Exposed Aggregate Floating Concrete Steps

Sunshine Coast – Sunshine Beach

This set of exposed aggregate floating concrete steps were the first floating steps job I had taken on for myself.

We worked with the client to design the floating steps to work with two different accesses. Having to prioritise functionality and well as aesthetics, We set out and completed the floating steps Formwork and concrete pours all in-house from start to finish.

The job consisted of three pours, one for the base path, and the steps themselves were executed in two different pours as the process of this style of floating concrete steps call for.

flat even grades and clean lines are always the goal with concreting and Given the extra Level of difficulty that exposed aggregate concrete steps present in any scenario, the client as well as myself were very happy with the end result.
