Concrete Footpaths - Sunshine Coast
Concrete Pathway Specialists – Sunshine Coast
A well-built concrete footpath does more than connect two points on your property. It frames your landscaping, improves access and safety, and adds a polished finish that lifts the overall presentation of your home or commercial site. Done right, a concrete pathway on the Sunshine Coast will last 30–40 years with almost no maintenance. Done poorly — with inadequate sub-base preparation, no reinforcement, or incorrect joint spacing — it cracks, lifts at the edges, and becomes a trip hazard within a few years.
At Rawcon Concrete, we’ve been laying concrete footpaths and pathways across the Sunshine Coast since 1985. From simple residential garden paths to long commercial shared footpaths and body corporate common areas, we bring the same attention to preparation, reinforcement, drainage, and finishing to every pathway we construct.
Concrete Footpath Finishes We Offer
Broomed (Standard) Finish
The most practical and most common finish for concrete footpaths on the Sunshine Coast. A fine broom texture provides consistent slip resistance in wet conditions, drains quickly, and is easy to keep clean. Available in plain grey or with an integral colour oxide for a warmer tone.
Exposed Aggregate Pathways
Exposed aggregate is an excellent choice for entry paths, garden pathways, and any footpath where appearance matters as much as function. The natural stone texture provides grip in the wet and looks impressive — available in stone and colour combinations that complement your existing driveway, patio, or pool surround (exposed aggregate concrete).
Coloured Concrete Pathways
Integral colour oxide — mixed throughout the concrete, not applied as a coating — gives a consistent, fade-resistant tone across the entire path. Popular in warm charcoals, sandstones, and neutral greys that complement Sunshine Coast homes and landscaping.
Stencilled & Patterned Concrete
For entry paths and decorative feature pathways, stencilled concrete can replicate the look of pavers, slate, or tile at a lower cost per square metre. We’ll advise during the site visit whether stencilled concrete is appropriate for your specific path conditions.
