Lake Weyba – Sunshine Coast
This Large exposed aggregate concrete driveway was completed in one pour for a return client at Lake Weyba. The exposed aggregate mix the client settled on was Dauringa exposed aggregate from Hy-tech concrete, as they were after a mix design with some earthier tones. This exposed aggregate driveway was in excess of 200m2 which is the upper limit of what you should pour in a single pour without a construction joint.
The above image is not a sample, it is a photo of the job its self. As you can see there is a wide range of aggregate size and colour in this mix, This helps with consistency when it come to the finished product, which is always key.
Note- the cement in the photos of this driveway appear darker than normal as the concrete is wet
